Georgetown Heritage

This nonprofit works with the National Park Service to create a more inviting and engaging outdoor space in Georgetown. They are currently focusing their efforts on the C&O Canal National Historic Park. Learn how to volunteer and get involved here

Georgetown Main Streets

Georgetown Main Streets is a nonprofit organization that focuses on serving small businesses along the Wisconsin Ave corridor. Their goal is to create an environment for local businesses to thrive amongst the larger competition within Georgetown. In addition, they help these businesses with their marketing and communications, historic preservation, and promoting community engagement.

You can get involved with Georgetown Main Streets by becoming a volunteer to support the organization with its various events!

Georgetown Business Business (BID)

The Business Improvement District covers programs such as economic development, public safety, transportation, and more! Georgetown BID taxes fund the operations for these organizations to keep the commercial district up to par. If you qualify as a BID member, fill out this form if you would like a particular topic to be addressed in the next meeting. 

Old Georgetown Board (OGB)

The OGB is a team of three CFA-appointed architects to advise and review submitted projects and concepts to take place in the Georgetown historic district. The board holds monthly public meetings for applicants to submit their projects and ideas for review to regulate which architecture is allowable. Learn the requirements and how to submit projects here
