This tranquil landscape offers two-hour street parking (unlimited time on Sundays) off R street or Whitehaven. If street parking is taken, you can reserve a space at a garage closer to Georgetown’s central and walk about half a mile.

Since this spot is popular amongst both locals and tourists, street parking can be challenging to find. Look for meter parking of K and Water Streets, N.W.

Note that the metro doesn’t come into Georgetown directly, but they can drop you off close by at Foggy Bottom or Rosslyn, VA. You can also use a bike-sharing service around Georgetown with Capital Bikeshare! With bike kiosks scattered around the city, you can pick up and drop off your bike as you please.
